Help care for every police officer in the nation!
There is a massive, unknown crisis in law enforcement, but together, we can solve it. Whether you join us by giving once or through our community of monthly givers, your generosity will meet the needs of officers and their families around the nation.
OUR WORK
Law enforcement officers will help in any emergency. Who helps them with their emergencies?
Thousands of officers are catastrophically injured on duty every year. The rigors of policing has led to a major mental health crisis among officers, including an epidemic of suicides.
We believe that officers injured on duty should be taken care of. We believe that when a family of an officer faces the tragedy of suicide, their needs should be taken care of. We believe law enforcement officers and their families should never have to suffer in silence.
“When I was hit by a drunk driver while on duty, the insurance company would not pay for my basic rehab needs. Cover Now kept me going, and now I am up walking again.”
Sgt. Jeff Merritt
31 year police veteran
THE NEED
Those Who Keep Us Safe Are Suffering In Silence….
Approximately 300-400 police officers per year commit suicide. Thousands more suffer catastrophic injury in the line of duty and are turned over to insurance companies, often to be denied needs.
